Born Margaret Shuttleworth in November 1939, Meg Wynn-Owen played the role of Older Isabella, Abigail's sister, in the Eleventh Doctor Christmas special, A Christmas Carol.

When she was thirteen, a friend of the family, Ruth Wynn-Owen, took over primary care of her, which lead to her taking this name as part of her stage name. She would go on to appear as Lewis in Gosford Park, which also saw Michael Gambon appear. She would then appear as Mrs. Reynolds in Pride and Prejudice, and as a housekeeper in Scoop.

She died in June 2022. She was 82 years old.
