28. The Claimers Meet Their Maker
There are plenty of moments that helped turn mild-mannered cop Rick Grimes into the apocalyptic badass everyone knows and loves, but few remain as horrifying and iconic as the moment he comes face-to-face with the vile Claimers.
Headed to Terminus, Rick, Michonne and Carl are blindsided by the nomadic gang and held at gunpoint. It seems like the trio are stuck, until leader Joe suggests he and his goons are going to rape his son and kill Michonne.
