30 Greatest TV Sitcoms Of All Time

23. The IT Crowd

It would be tough to find a more relatable and popular sit-com on modern British television than the dead-pan wit-fest that is The IT Crowd.

Starring Katherine Parkinson, Chris O'Dowd and Richard Ayoade as three staff members in a London office's IT department, it might just be one of the most quotable and hysterical comedies going.

Though it only ran for four seasons, over seven years, The IT Crowd is a show choc-full of hysterical one liners - "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" - and brilliantly awkward social interactions complete with bad injuries and the mispronunciation of names at the dinner table.

Just charming enough to avoid being cringey or too weird, this is a sitcom in desperate need of a few more seasons. More Moss is never going to be a bad thing, after all.
