30 WTF Moments From Arrow's Season 4 Premiere

25. Kord Industries

Oliver Queen Arrow Season 4
The CW

Whilst Black Canary and Red Arrow did their best to stop an attack on a truck in the episode’s early moments, it’s the name on the truck that will have most long-time DC fans intrigued.

Kord Industries was the logo that was emblazoned on the vehicle, and that will have immediately brought Ted Kord to mind for many.

In DC comic book lore, Ted Kord is the second man to take on the Blue Beetle moniker. Interestingly enough, there were originally plans to have that particular hero be a part of Arrow’s third season before those plans were nixed and Ray Palmer’s Atom was introduced instead.

Could it be that we may get Ted Kord in the future or was this merely a nice nod to the show’s knowing fanbase?
