Everybody is fed up of Hipsters. In the past years hipsters rose to such popularity to the point where it became a trend, and as such, being hipster wasn't hipster anymore. Even Hipsters are fed up of Hipsters. In reality, Hipsters evolved from a notion that we can have alternative lifestyles, we don't have to follow the masses and we are not to conform to what society deems acceptable behaviour - to a derogatory term describing middle-class university graduates who live in densely populated areas, dress weird and account for the majority of skinny soy lattes Starbucks sells. Today, hipsters have a large presence on TV even thought there arent many shows about them. Their popularity quickly turned them into a sort of laughing stock on sitcoms and sketch shows because television is very good at following trends, and real Hipsters don't watch television.
5. New Girl

They're three friends living in LA: Winston, a frustrated, insecure sportsman, Schmidt, an overly confident, self-proclaimed womanizer and Nick, a retrograde bartender with low aspirations in life. Who's that Girl? It's Jess! The new roommate: an 'adorkable' middle school teacher who drives an old car and whose style proves it is cute to act like the children you teach, complete with guitar-playing and little songs. Jess's success lies on the perfect combination of looks, innocence with an attitude, a hipster wardrobe and hipster-like lifestyle. Very often she's quite annoying, she's stubborn, blows things out of proportion and often overreacts when faced with adversity. Some would call Jess spoiled, some could call her a loser. But damn she's so cute!
