5. Deb & Dexter, Dexter (Couldn't Understand)
This was wrong on so many levels. Yeah, yeah, they weren't technically related but what on earth were the writers thinking to put these two together?
Firstly, it was so out of character for Dexter to do such a thing, not to mention the fact that he couldn't really fall in love with him being a serial killer an all. Plus, he didn't have empathy.
Secondly, it completely destroyed all of Deb's character development which had seen her change so much from the first episode.
Finally, it was pointless! Nobody wanted it and nobody cared. To add insult to injury, the writers then conjured up one of the worst finales in television history. The whole thing really was a shame because in the early days, Dexter really was the best thing on the box.
