5 Ways Sherlock Has Proved To Be More Human In Season 3

4. His Compassion for Molly

Throughout series one and two, Molly served mostly as a punching bag for Sherlock€™s quotes and general uncaring of her feelings and. This season has shown something completely different. When she told him about her new boyfriend, he made it a fact to mention him by name the next time they saw each other, and to even give him a go at trying to figure out how the Invisible Killer killed the soldier. Now, of course, I€™m sure Sherlock got some great pleasure out of such a ridiculous answer from Molly€™s boyfriend, but still. It€™s a step in the right direction, don€™t you think? The best point, though, between Molly and Sherlock is when he explains only a bit of his plan to survive Moriarty. After taking her out for a day of solving crimes, something that I can imagine is Sherlock€™s version of an incredibly intimate gesture -- as only few people see him solve crimes €“ he tells her that the one flaw in Moriarty€™s plan was that he didn€™t realize that the person he thought Sherlock cared about was the person who cared about him the most. And then we all swooned and wished we were Molly Hooper. But seriously, this is probably the biggest show of change in how he treats people. Where Molly was constantly the object of ridicule for Sherlock, in two seasons she became one of the most important people in his life. They€™ve quickly become some sort of best friends, which was evident from how worried Molly was about Sherlock giving the best man speech, and if you noticed, how worried she was when he left the reception. This seems like friendship match made in heaven. Don€™t you think?

I'm currently attending my local college while trying to figure out who I am. I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, really any BBC show. I've also been told I'm a bit of a nerd. Specifically, a theatre nerd.
