10. Cat- Red Dwarf

cat_0 The Cat is the result of the radiation leak on Red Dwarf- mutating him to humanoid form. Like the rest of the crew he shares a mutual dislike for Rimmer, often hurling some absurd made up names at him. He has all the qualities of a house cat, often appearing vain and only thinking of his own well being. Despite all this though he has little to no experience with females.

9. Arnold Jackson- Diff'rent Strokes

Arnold Jackson Arnold is the main character of Diff'rent Strokes and protrayed by the late Gary Coleman. Arnold's mother worked as a housekeeper for a wealthy White man called Philip Drummond- who adopts Arnold and his brother at the request of their mother before she died. He was portrayed as the annoying younger brother and was often drawn into some scheme or another, involving staying out of trouble or gaining something for his own desire. He became popular with the catchphrase "Whatchoo talkin' about Willis?"

8. Moss- The IT Crowd

Moss Moss is your stereotypical computer nerd who works in the IT deparment in the basement of Rhenholm Industries. He can't function outside of his working environment and when he does, it often leads to hilarious yet catastrophic results. When confronted with a fire for example, he opts to email the Fire Brigade, only after deciding his first few attempts sounded too formal.

7. Victor Meldrew- One Foot In The Grave

victor I don't believe it! Victor Meldrew- everyone's favorite grumpy old man makes an appearance at number 6. He hates everything and anyone, from children, power cuts and his next door neighbors. Despite his pessimistic view on life he became one of the most iconic characters of British sitcoms- so much so that the term Victor Meldrew became a popular term for describing any cynical old man.

6. Sheldon Lee Cooper - Big Bang Theory

sheldon Sheldon Cooper is a theoretical physicist who has all of the brains but none of the social skills. He is often seen as lacking a basic grasp of sarcasm and empathy to other people, even his room mate Leonard. He has to try and be better than everyone else and is often vocal about his achievements. Despite all his awkward tendencies he has managed to find love with Amy.
