6 Awesome TV Actors Who Failed On The Big Screen

1. Ashton Kutcher

Awesome In: That 70s Show "Best" Movie: The Butterfly Effect Cinematic Filmography Includes: Valentine's Day, New Year's Day, The Guardian, Dude Where's My Car, Guess Who, What Happens in Vegas, Just Married, Cheaper by the Dozen, Killers Now, maybe you don't even like the guy. I don't like any of his movies, Butterfly Effect included, but I understand that he's a decent actor. He's got an excellent sense of naturalism when on screen, and while I'm not the biggest fan of Kelso on That 70s, I'd be lying if I said that he didn't grow on me. But what is it with this laundry list of films? I understand he's that fresh, cute face, but I don't take Kutcher for an idiot. I think with films like Spread, he's trying to get into some heavier stuff, he just needs to look a little harder and not compromise for another holiday feature. Hopefully, his newest outing as Steve Jobs will turn some heads and give him the notoriety I anticipate he deserves for his acting chops. Okay. I lied. If he comes out in a star-studded ensemble for Arbor Day, I'll be first in line.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
