6 Awesome TV Actors Who Failed On The Big Screen

2. Kelsey Grammer

Awesome In: Boss, Cheers, Frasier "Best" Movie: X-Men: The Last Stand Cinematic Filmography Includes: I Don't Know How She Does It, Crazy On the Outside, Swing Vote Grammer is a powerhouse of just about everything; so why is he being relegated to half-roles like in I Don't Know How She Does It? Am I the only person who wants to see a rude, crude, bombastically caustic Kelsey Grammer ripping it up on screen with the likes of, say, Tim Curry and Ian McShane? Let Grammer loose with a great, funny, or even touching script, and stop demoting him to pop-up roles where he does nothing but explain that actors sometimes don't even have to try. The world knows Grammer's better than that. In the meantime, you can check out his bravado performance on Boss.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
