5. The White Walkers
As I said in my review of the finale, I wasnt terribly impressed by the final shot of Samwell cowering as hordes of zombies wandered out of frozen foods, heading to the meat department. I thought it didnt look quite right and ending the season in ice kind of paled to last year, where it ended in fire. But that said, I am pleased weve been able to get a good look at these guys. I still understand nothing about them, but it was nice to actually see them (even if they didnt quite look fearsome enough to me). Even though it wasnt where I would have ended the season, it does at least leave us in a place where we have, hopefully, much to look forward to with them.
