So remember me mentioning that theres one companion who I would get to in a bit? That bit is now, and his name is Frobisher (Robert Jezek). He appeared for quite a while in the Doctor Who comics alongside the Sixth Doctor (and briefly alongside the Seventh). He was a shapeshifting alien detective who spent most of his time looking like an emperor penguin. Not surprisingly, he never made it on to the TV show (though he could now. You listening, Moffat?). But his strangeness works well for the audio format, and while theres only two stories with him, this one, the first one, is the best. Its a story all about what happens when religious belief goes very wrong. Its a very magnificent and even rather sad story, and among the early stories for all the Doctors, its one of the very best.
