6 YouTube Channels That Deserve A Move To Television

1. The Philip Defranco Show

The Philip Defranco Show

If you randomly came up to me on the street and asked me who I thought the king of YouTube was, I would immediately respond by saying "Who are you? I'm going to call the cops." But if you persisted then I would tell you that I believe PhillyD is the king of YouTube.

Phil started in 2006 with just a regular Vlog where he would talk about his life or things that just bothered or intrigued him that day. This Vlog eventually evolved into The Philip DeFranco Show where Monday through Thursday he "Brings You The News That Mattered To Him Today." This is truthfully my main source of news every week.

Not only does he bring you the facts but he also offers up his own opinions and thoughts on the subjects and welcomes you to give your own thoughts and opinions.

I can definitely picture Philip Defranco having his own talk show, much like Conan or Craig Ferguson. An hour a day of quality news brought to you by PhillyD? Yeah I would watch that.

Since his start he has gained almost 3 million subscribers and well over a billion views, which is NUTS!

Final thought: Do you know what The Philip Defranco Show reminds me of? News Night With Will McAvoy from the HBO series The Newsroom.

"News Night With Philip Defranco"
