The time-travelling duo of Marty McFly and Doc Brown first made their on-screen appearance together in the 1985 smash-hit sci-fi comedy, Back to the Future.

Marty, a young rock and roller, and Doc, a classic mad scientist, join forces when McFly is accidentally sent back in time and causes his parents never to fall in love, resulting in his existence being erased from history.

Back to the Future fans were delighted when Stranger Things' third season found Dustin, Steve, Robin and Erica walking into a screening of the sci-fi classic, and it's clear that the Matt and Ross Duffer have a lot of love for the film - as depicted by how the audience here reacts to seeing the movie for the first time.

In recent weeks, actor Michael J. Fox has admitted that his struggle with Parkinson's is making it progressively more difficult to learn a lot of his dialogue, meaning he's no longer actively seeking acting work. Could a small Stranger Things cameo alongside his Back to the Future co-star be something which could tempt him, though?

Fox and Lloyd have appeared together on-screen a handful of times since Back to the Future, with Lloyd even making a guest appearance on The Michael J. Fox Show.
