8 Cleverest TV Series Finale Titles

6. The Good Parts - United States Of Tara

The Sopranos
A24

United States of Tara features emotional drive like no other. In life, families are brought together to help members who have mental health disorders, in spite of the clear hurdles. Often, we recognize our loved ones as our "good parts," the same way Tara, who suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, acknowledges her son and daughter as her good parts.

The three-season show illustrated the ups and downs of the Gregson family. For most of the series, one of Tara's alters would cause challenges that were stressful to deal with. The series finale, however, brought everything together in an extremely cohesive and heartwarming fashion.

The Gregson clan decided to just accept everyone for who they are. Tara (including her several alternate personalities) is finally able to find peace within herself. It wasn't about finding a solution to cure the disorder, it was about recognizing that the solution was in family.

The series finale managed to tightly wrap up the daily struggles of Tara and her DID, as well as the show's characters. It showed us that what we're usually searching for, in terms of a cure, can be found in our loved ones. They are our good parts. Pass us the tissue box.
