8 Insane Doctor Who Flux Theories That Will Blow Your Mind

5. The Mouri Are the Weeping Angels

This one is long and complex and has way too much evidence to get through quickly. So, let’s shorten it down.

The Mouri protect the Temple of Atropos on the planet, Time. They wear long robes, have a distinctive stance, and both are quantum-locked species. The Angels only move when you’re not looking at them, and the Mouri only appear in close proximity. There’s the obvious religious symbology - the Angels vs the golden goddesses. The Mouri experience all of time running through them and the Angels can send people back in time to feed off the energy of the life that their victim would have lived.

With the Weeping Angels serving as one of the main antagonists of the series, and their striking similarities to the Mouri, it’s likely that we’ll learn more about their history and maybe find some confirmation on this theory.

Could Flux even be showing us the making of the Angels and explain how they came to be? We'll likely find some answers in Episode Four: The Village of the Angels.
