8 TV Shows That Are Going To Get Cancelled In 2016

2. Minority Report

Agent Carter cancelled
Fox

Based on the 2002 Spielberg film of the same name (which is incidentally based on the Philip K. Dick short story which also has the same name), Minority Report aired at the close of 2015. Set in Washington D.C. in the year 2065, it follows Dash, a Precog with the ability to predict crimes before they happen.

The first sign of disaster came halfway through the show's episode order, when Fox announced that three episodes were getting the chop, reducing the season's total from thirteen down to ten. This was accompanied by ratings that started drying up faster than an ice cube in the Sahara desert.

Poor ratings aside, the show developed a small yet eager fanbase who were either fans of the Spielberg movie or sci-fi fans in general. Nevertheless Fox has been silent on the show's future since the season finale aired in November 2015, and you don't have to be a Precog to know that means bye bye Minority Report.
