Cersei Lannister commands both bile and perhaps reluctant admiration from viewers and characters alike. She's also a practically textbook case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

She is almost completely consumed by a pathological need for power, success and status and has precisely zero problem stepping on whomever she needs to in order to get it. She has a complete lack of empathy and, whilst some see her obsession with her children as a burning motherly love, she is also willing to play them like pawns in the game of thrones.

The desire for power by any means necessary, including the exploitation and manipulation of others, is classic Machiavellian behaviour. She is cruel, self-obsessed, controlling, haughty, power-hungry, exploitative and ruthless - a true narcissist.
