In the Eleventh Doctors swan song the Cybermen were out-shadowed by the Daleks and the Weeping Angels. Oh, and the regeneration of the Doctor, of course. A recurring thread is forming here. Whatever happened to the Cybermen being the primary focus? That said, they are used rather efficiently - aside from Handles, that is. They appear fleetingly but they do manage to turn wooden (somehow) in order to infiltrate the defences of Trenzalore. This was a thrill to watch for many as the Doctor turned the Cybermans weapons upon itself. The wooden Cyberman was good as a one-time thing, but probably shouldn't appear again.
