Beavis and Butt-Head was created as a fun, adult cartoon that follows two, destructive teenage boys who enjoy watching tv and causing chaos. It targets an adult audience because, let's just say, the titular boys are not exactly role models.

Nevertheless, there are going to be kids out there that get exposed to things that are not necessarily for them. Hell, I'm sure we can all remember being frightened by a horror movie we watched too young or convincing our parents to let us play an r-rated video game before we should. It's just an unfortunate symptom of life.

Beavis and Butt-Head learnt this the hard way. The first episode of the third season saw the two boys attempting a career in stand-up comedy. But when the audience takes poorly to the boys' acts, Beavis decides to juggle on-fire newspapers, which subsequently burnt the comedy club down.

Unfortunately for the boys, even though their audience found the act boring, 5-year old Austin watched the scene on tv at home and found the whole thing hilarious. Hilarious enough to sneak out of bed one night to recreate the scene for real, burning down his family's trailer home and killing his baby sister in the process.

When the studio got wind of this, the episode was highly edited and pushed to a late night slot for its next viewing. However this proved to help little, and the episode was eventually pulled from syndication indefinitely.
