Agent Carter: 10 Easter Eggs And References You Need To See

2. Goodman, Kurtzberg & Holliway

One of the sub-plots in the second episode regarding Peggy's private life saw waitress friend Angie (played by Lyndsy Fonseca, of How I Met Your Mother and Kick-Ass infamy) convincing her to come live in a women-only apartment building. One of the ways she tries to coax Agent Carter into potentially jeopardising the lives of her fellow tenants is by bigging up the various neighbours Angie has. One such neighbour, Mary, is described as a a legal secretary at Goodman, Kurtzman & Holliway. That's a fictional solicitors, by the way, but one that should be familiar to readers of the Marvel comic books, since it's the law firm that She-Hulk works for. Yes, despite having the same big green affliction as her cousin Bruce Banner, Jessica Walters spends most of her time working as an attorney. Does that mean Marvel could one day make a She-Hulk film, or even a TV show? Because the current run by Charles Soule and Javier Pulido would make for a great superhero legal drama. Also, double Easter egg, since Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzman & Holliway is named for Marvel founders Martin Goodman, Stan Lee (born Lieber) and Jack Kirby (born Kurtzman).
