Last Seen: In contact with Coulson, who fed her the location of Baron von Strucker's base in season two's 'The Dirty Half Dozen' so that the Avengers could reclaim Loki's scepter, as seen in the opening scenes of Age of Ultron.
Despite Age of Ultron leaving Maria Hill working at the Avengers facility, the character completely sat out this year's Captain America: Civil War and the entirety of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s third season, without so much as a name-check as to what she's been up to since or where she might be now.
It's hard to imagine we'll be seeing her again anytime soon when upcoming films like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and the sequels to Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor don't quite have room for her, which leaves Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the best - and most logical - place for her to get to really make an impact on the MCU. With Cobie Smulders' time on How I Met Your Mother having come to an end over two years ago now, it's surprising the show hasn't snapped her up to pick up the slack from the film side to further explore Hill, who is in desperate need of some face time to develop into a fully-fledged character all of her own.
