American Horror Story: Apocalypse - 6 Ups & 1 Down From 'Boy Wonder'

Downs...

American Horror Story Apocalypse Augustus Mead Michael

While there is a lot to sing about in Boy Wonder, there are a few issues with the script that, quite frankly, let it down. Firstly, the lack of explanation given in regards to Myrtle Snow's resurrection is proving problematic. While this is an issue with the Apocalypse season as a whole, it's made worse in Boy Wonder, as much of the episode focuses on the witches and their abilities. Whoever brought Myrtle back would've likely boasted about such a feat. If Apocalypse was ever going to reveal how Myrtle came back, this would've been the episode for it to do so.

Ms Mead's involvement in Michael's plan also proves problematic, as it makes no sense whatsoever. Firstly, there's the issue of how she even knew where John Henry Moore was headed. But, even if we were able to forgive that, the biggest issue is how she came to meet Ariel Augustus. If Mead had no contact with the warlocks before Michael's involvement with them, how did she come into contact with Augustus? Bit convenient, right?
