According to sources close to these that work at FX, season 5 won't have a supernatural arc at all, and will focus on secret societies and satanic cults. The same source claims that Gaga's character will lead the cult as a "beautiful, strange, yet sophisticated heiress - knees deep in debt - who runs the hotel and will do whatever it takes to keep it up and running, regardless of the tragic and disturbing events that have taken place there." The same source also claimed that Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Frances Conroy and Wes Bentley will return to the 5th season. Perhaps Peters and Conroy aren't that much of a stretch (since they've been there since season 1), but the rest? We'll just have to wait and see.
