Arrow: 10 Biggest Questions We Have For Season 8

4. Will It Be An All-Flash-Forwards Season?

Perhaps the biggest talking point of Season 7 as a whole was the introduction of a flash-forward narrative. A completely unexpected addition, these flash-forwards would sporadically see the show jump into the future throughout the season (much like it used to flash back to Oliver's time on Lian Yu), allowing us to see what some of our favourite Star City residents were getting up to 20 years from now.

Primarily focusing on William, he would eventually cross paths with his own sister, Mia Smoak, and with the help of the latter's mother, Felicity, as well as Team Arrow vets Roy Harper, Dinah Drake and Laurel Lance, they managed to bring down the villainous Galaxy One.

That being said, the finale saw Felicity disappear, as Roy and Dinah went underground, leaving William, Mia, Connor Hawke and Zoe Ramirez to take over as the heroes of Star City.

With so many veteran characters departing from the show, it certainly looked like the writers were trying to set up a next generation of Team Arrow that, if they don't end up headlining their own spin-off, could very well headline Season 8.

We know for a fact that the narrative will be returning next season, as David Joseph-Jones (who portrays Connor Hawke) has been promoted to a series regular. The only question is: Are the others destined to follow in his footsteps?
