Arrow: 10 Characters Who Should Join Season 5

4. Nightwing

Arrow Nightwing
DC Comics

Please? Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

For what seems like the longest time, any and all comic book fans have been clamouring to see Dick Grayson on the small screen. Adding further fuel to that fire, Arrow has taken great delight in referencing Blüdhaven, the home of Nightwing, several times during its four-season run.

Key to whether this former Robin ever turns up in TV land is just exactly what plans Warner Brothers has for him on the big screen. From a purely selfish point of view, myself, like many, hope that cinematic plans for Dick are minimal and that means we can get to see him appear in some form of episodic TV product, whether that’s his own show or helping out a fellow hero such as, I don’t know... Green Arrow!

With his lack of actual superpowers, his fighting technique, his unbridled determination and dedication, and his staunch morals, Dick Grayson has so much in common with Oliver Queen. Even more-so than Ollie has in common with Barry Allen.

Adding Dick into the mix, if allowed to, could give the Emerald Archer someone to add into his inner-circle who has so much experience in the exact same things that Ollie does on a daily basis.

Now once again, please can we have Dick Grayson? Pretty please?
