Arrow: 10 Questions We're Asking After Beyond Redemption

6. A New Era For Oliver And Quentin?

Quentin and Oliver have had a bit of an on-again, off-again working relationship. They've never completely trusted each other, mostly due to Ollie's past with Quentin's daughters, but they've gone from an uneasy alliance to the Detective actively hunting down the Arrow, and this episode sees them come back around to working together, but it does seem a bit different. There's more trust between them now. Quentin is out in the field with Team Arrow again, but feels more like a part of things - he even gets an invite into the Arrow Lair. Oliver knows about his working with Darhk, and there was that whole speech about wanting to be somebody who could impress Quentin and make him proud (which, as always, Paul Blackthorne and Stephen Amell totally nailed). Is this the beginning of something more, something better between the two? A partnership where they do work together, and trust each other? If it means Quentin is going to be more involved in the main plot and Team Arrow, then I'm all for it. However, could this also be a sign of the two getting closer, ultimately leading to Quentin's death?
