Citys under attack; must be May. Paul Blackthornes Det. Lance in the season 3 finale, speaking for Arrow fans everywhere. It was the third consecutive season-ending assault on Starling City, and although theyve taken various guises, the overall effect has largely been the same. The show still manages to pull it off, but surely it cant rely on that a fourth time. Obviously the premise of the Arrow character is to protect the city, which is why it so often comes under attack, but as with the villain itd be good to see a different threat posed, one that doesnt involve climactic battles playing out across Starling.
