Arrow: 9 Mistakes It Must Avoid In Season 4

2. The Season-Ending Assault On The City

€œCity€™s under attack; must be May.€ €“ Paul Blackthorne€™s Det. Lance in the season 3 finale, speaking for Arrow fans everywhere. It was the third consecutive season-ending assault on Starling City, and although they€™ve taken various guises, the overall effect has largely been the same. The show still manages to pull it off, but surely it can€™t rely on that a fourth time. Obviously the premise of the Arrow character is to protect the city, which is why it so often comes under attack, but as with the villain it€™d be good to see a different threat posed, one that doesn€™t involve climactic battles playing out across Starling.
