Arrow shook things up quite a bit last year, with the introduction of the Lazarus Pit and its very first metahuman - outside of Barry Allen - in Deathbolt. Previously grounded in reality, that's really opened up the show for further exploration of 'magic and mysticism', as the showrunners have described it. While the Pit is likely to be coming back into play with the resurrection of Sara Lance, there is now far more scope to introduce metahumans into the show. It needn't do this too much, and it's better to see the non-superpowered Oliver taking on villains capable of challenging him physically, mentally, and emotionally, while still being ones he can realistically defeat. However, introducing a few more of these suped-up bad-guys would add a different dynamic to the show and further test Team Arrow's abilities, as it's fun to watch the contrast those with and those without powers fighting, and also gives scope for different types of villain to show up.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
