Arrow Season 4: 11 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Genesis'

8. What's Merlyn's Endgame?

Malcolm Merlyn appears again here, but he's not really elevated into anything approaching a significant role, instead lumbered with Andy and Murmur as if he's just another one of Darhk's loyal henchmen.

Obviously, that isn't a role that really suits the former Ra's al Ghul. There was a brief period where the show seemed it may even have been setting him up as a stealth main villain of Season 4, or at least establishing him as the big bad of next year, but the former obviously isn't the case, and the latter might be, but it doesn't answer his role in the rest of this season.

Is he just supporting Darhk and Genesis, or will he have a much bigger role to play in things, and what is he in this for?
