Arrow Season 4: 12 Big Questions After 'Beacon Of Hope'

6. How Does Murmur Fit Into Things?

Brie Larvan wasn't the only returnee from the Arrowverse's past, as Murmur - aka Michael Amar - returned as the kingpin of Iron Heights Prison.

He was last seen almost exactly a year ago, in Season 3's The Offer, where he took on Team Arrow after being released from prison, only to end up back behind bars.

That's good news for Damien Darhk, as he's able to manipulate him into working for him by threatening his grandmother (ever a weakness of otherwise formidable gangsters) and gets him to send a message. Presumably that goes to Malcolm Merlyn, given the way the episode ends, but quite how Murmur fits into things, and whether the organisation mentioned is simply H.I.V.E. or one we haven't been introduced to yet, remains to be seen.
