Arrow Season 6: 10 Major Predictions

5. Laurel Becomes A Hero

Another character set for a heroic turn is Laurel Lance, aka Black Siren. After doing the bidding of Prometheus in Season 5, we know that she's going to be a major player this year - with Katie Cassidy once again an Arrowverse regular - and is going to have at least one showdown with the new Black Canary, Dinah.

One of the discussion points around this version of Laurel's character has been the idea of redemption, and that's likely to be explored quite a lot in Season 6. Given she's played by Cassidy, who was a hero (or at least on their side) for four seasons, it's easy to believe the writers will want to get her back to that level, but with the sort of development and arcs the original Laurel missed out on too many times.

The stumbling block here is that there's a new Black Canary in town - and an impressive one at that, so far at least - so how would a heroic turn work? Well, it'd likely be a season-long arc for starters, but it could then allow Black Siren to leave Star City (either for another city or another Earth) and to be a fully-fledged hero on her own terms, bringing Cassidy's run to a more satisfying conclusion.
