Arrow Season 7: Ranking The Probability Of Every Major Character Death

It's a miracle that Rene made it out of Season 6 alive. He offended so many people with his confrontational attitude that even fans wanted to kill him off. But in the midst of all the drama and the "this doesn't change anything, hoss"s, there were glimpses of a truly deep (if slightly underdeveloped) storyline that teased the possibility of his demise.

Worried that he would get killed in the field and leave his daughter Zoe without a father, Rene gave up the Wild Dog mantle. When he finally returned to action to stop Ricardo Diaz, he almost fell victim to a bomb explosion. Thankfully, he escaped, but does that really bring an end to his concerns?

Rene will likely struggle with the fact that Oliver (who he was clashed with throughout Season 6) surrendered himself for their freedom. Thus, as the trailer suggests, his guilt will drive him to return the favour and keep the city safe. So with this weighing on his mind, and the storyline from last season still lingering, Rene's desires to protect everyone could end up putting him in harm's way all over again.

It was surprising to hear that all three newbie Team Arrow members are returning this season, as it means the cast will once again be very large - but that doesn't mean that all of these characters will make it out alive. And, given his recent history, Rene is the one most likely to end up paying the ultimate price.
