10. A Tribute From The Arrowverse's Other Heroic Pillars

It was easy to overlook Caity Lotz's return to Arrow as one of the many nods to her character's origins on the show, but the truth is that Sara Lance's comeback was also about representing DC's Legends of Tomorrow. That was a fact that became abundantly clear when Grant Gustin's Barry Allen and Melissa Benoist's Kara Danvers also showed up at Oliver's funeral.

It felt right that the faces of the three (four if you count Laurel, Dinah and Mia as representatives of Green Arrow and The Canaries) other major Arrowverse shows were present to honour Oliver's memory. The Flash, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow are among the most popular programs on TV and none of them would exist without Arrow. Simply put: The Arrowverse wouldn't exist without Oliver.

It wouldn't be a series finale without one more major crossover for the show that started it all, and what a tasteful crossover it was.
