5. World Will Live, Worlds Will Die
The Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book series kicked off by having several earths destroyed by the Anti-Monitor. The event in the comics also ended with earths being destroyed as all of the earths in the multiverse were merged into a single earth, killing countless people and heroes.
This comic book series was a way to bring together large amounts of heroes from other earths, and also as a way to simplify stories in the future without having to rely on the multiverse.
The CW crossover has been confirmed to start off in a similar fashion with several earths being destroyed by the Anti-Monitor. It has also been long suspected that all of the earths in the Arrowverse’s multiverse would merge following the crisis. This would allow characters like the Flash and Batwoman of Earth-1 to more easily interact with the likes of characters such as Supergirl and Superman who currently reside on Earth-38.
With that said, Crisis on Infinite Earths is expected to be the biggest and most catastrophic crossover event the heroes of the Arrowverse have ever seen.
