4. Lex Luthor Will Be A Major Player
Lex Luthor was revealed to be returning to Supergirl after appearing in a few episodes last season. It was also revealed that he would be taking part in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.
The last time we saw Lex Luthor was in the Supergirl Season 4 finale. He was, well, dead. However, any fan of the Arrowverse shows knows that death is not always permanent. The final shot of the episode had The Monitor standing over the villain’s dead body. With all of The Monitor’s cosmic abilities, it would not be much of a stretch to believe that Lex could be revived.
Luthor had a large role to play in the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book series, and it would seem like he will in the CW adaptation as well. I guess we will have to wait and see if the Superman villain will side with the heroes or the villains in the crisis.
