4. It's Pretty Much Just More Of The Same (And That's OK)

If you're expecting to see Ballers grow and mature much in its second season, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

It basically continues to stick to the first season's winning formula of wealth porn, interspersed with business deals, hilarious banter and Spencer occasionally dealing with medical issues.

Yes, it's still Entourage-lite as so many have labelled it, but honestly, the show is so much breezy fun that this is basically fine. Sure, more complexity would deepen its themes and meaning, but at the same time, there's a lot to be said for an easy, enjoyable sit such as this.
