Battlestar Galactica: 10 WORST Things To Happen In The Colonial Fleet

9. Terrorist Takeover

Battlestar Galactica Sacrifice
Universal

Sacrifice, a second season episode of Battlestar Galactica, explores the morality behind some of the colonial military's decision. This one in particular refers to the decision to keep the Cylon Sharon Valerii alive and in the Galactica's brig.

News of this gets out into the fleet and a small group of terrorists, led by Sasha Abinell, the window of a man killed in a Cylon attack, take over a bar on the pleasure ship, Cloud 9. They demand that Sharon be handed over to them in exchange for the hostages they keep inside.

In what could be a standard 'we don't negotiate with terrorists' moment, there is pause for thought. The Cylons have committed genocide against the Humans and those that are left are desperate for whatever revenge they can achieve. In this case, that revenge includes turning on each other.

With only several thousand Humans left alive in the galaxy, this descent into violence and bloodshed is one of the worst ways for events to unfold.
