Battlestar Galactica Cast: Where Are They Now?

Then: Although Dirk Benedict (Lt Starbuck in the original Battlestar Galactica) did not approve of the character switching genders, Katee Sackhoff more than filled his shoes. She made Captain Kara "Starbuck" Thrace her own and created one of the strongest female characters in Sci-Fi. She was nominated for four Saturn Awards, and won in 2005 for "Best Supporting Actress in a Television Series".

Now: Sackhoff got her start in the late 90's with roles in tv shows and movies, including Halloween: Resurrection. But her career really took off after BSG, joining 24 in its 8th season, Sackhoff was nominated for a Teen Choice Award. She has since gone on to have voice-over roles in Call of Duty and Robot Chicken. She now headlines her own sci-fi show, Netflix's Another Life. She is also supposed to be reprising her Star Wars: The Clone Wars character in The Mandalorian season 2!
