Battlestar Galactica: Every Starbuck Episode Ranked Worst To Best

14. Kobol's Last Gleaming

Battlestar Galatica Starbuck Six
Universal

In the first season finale, Starbuck has jumped away with the captured Cylon Raider. Furious at the discovery that Adama lied to her (and the rest of the fleet) about the journey to Earth, she allows herself to be swayed by President Roslin. Only with the Arrow of Apollo can they open the Tomb of Athena and discover the map to Earth.

While the Commander and the President hash it back in the fleet, Starbuck arrives back at Caprica and quickly locates the arrow. However, she is not alone and finds herself in a brutal fight with a Number Six model immediately after this. While Six is clearly the stronger of the two, Starbuck uses all of her anger and throws them both over a ledge - landing, knife down, on Six.

Things start to look up for Kara after this, as the next person to find her is none other than Karl Agathon, a friendly face at last. It is the beginning of salvation for them both, even if Kara is extremely hurt after her fight.

The first season ends with a bang, leaving the audience salivating for more.
