Battlestar Galactica: Every Starbuck Episode Ranked Worst To Best

Battlestar Galatica Starbuck Standoff
Universal

Starbuck has returned, seemingly from the dead, and both Anders and Lee greet her with open arms. There ends the warm welcome, with Adama ordering her immediately evaluation by the doctor. She is apparently confirmed as human, but there is serious contention to that fact by Roslin, Adama and others.

Quite simply - her story doesn't make sense. Apollo watched her Viper explode, yet she lands her bird without a scratch on it. As Tyrol darkly replies, when she asks him to process her so she can report on what she has seen, he has no flight record for her.

It is one of Battlestar Galactica's greatest mysteries: Starbuck died, Starbuck lives. She acts as Starbuck does, floating authority and going straight for Roslin, handing the President a gun to prove herself. Not taking any chances, Roslin pulls the trigger.

It is a shocking beginning to the final season of Battlestar Galactica, full of mystery, intrigue and hints at a greater purpose.
