Better Call Saul: 10 Breaking Bad Cameos That May Yet Pop Up
3. Walter White
Over twelve years since he first appeared, and Bryan Cranston's Walter White's tale still remains one of the most iconic and revolutionary stories to ever grace our television screens. And, like Krysten Ritter, we know from El Camino that the actor is open to reprise his role as the famous cook.
Vince Gilligan himself has stated that the writers would be "sorely remiss if these characters [including Jesse] didn't appear on the show before it ended". With that in mind, there are several places in which he could reappear.
He could pop up as a cameo before he even began his life of crime. Seeing a Walter White with hair working at the car wash would definitely be a shock to the system. The most likely scenario would be to appear when he first meets Saul Goodman. The prequel will likely end with Saul in the place he began, defending Badger in his debut episode, also titled Better Call Saul.
Another theory suggests that Walter White is still alive during the black-and-white cold opens. The news of his death reaching Saul, a.k.a Gene Takavic, is an opportunity the writers wouldn't miss.
