There are episodes on this list that put a lot of focus on Todd, and really allowed him to shine over the course of 25 minutes. However, he isn’t featured too heavily in this episode, but still manages to steal the show in one regard.

After selling Cabracadabra, Todd and Emily went out to dinner, and were enjoying each other’s company when the talk grew a bit more serious. Todd had always been really awkward around Emily when the sexual tension grew, and he didn’t do a great job of hiding it.

When Emily asked him about it, this was the first time that he addressed the possibility that he could be asexual. He wasn’t gay, nor was he straight, and as difficult as this could have been for him to come to terms with, Emily’s incredibly supportive response meant everything to him.

BoJack Horseman has been applauded for tackling so many different issues, and Todd accepting and embracing his own sexuality is one of its very best aspects. This was just the beginning of the journey for Todd, but was such an important conversation for him to have, and first step to take.
