BoJack Horseman: 10 Greatest Todd Episodes

In a ranking of the best Todd episodes of BoJack Horseman, it would be impossible not to include the one literally titled ‘Hooray! Todd Episode!’. Based on the episode itself, it would also be impossible not to include it near the top of the list.

This episode had four separate stories, all tied together by Todd running around between them. He helped Hollyhock get a DNA test on BoJack, he tried to help Princess Carolyn make Courtney Portnoy seem more accessible and in the process fixed the fashion industry, he accidentally declared Mr. Peanutbutter as pro fracking in the governor’s election, and tried to hide such a fact from Diane by keeping her distracted.

This episode did a few things for Todd. For one, it showed how much he cared about other people. He genuinely connected with Diane, and he went through hell and high water for Hollyhock, even though he’d never met her in his life before. All of this, almost at the expense of something he really wanted to do for himself.

This was the fifth element of the episode. After running around for everyone else all day, Todd made sure he made the time to do something for him, which was go to an asexuals meeting. He was only just comfortable admitting to himself, and to BoJack, that this label applied to him, and he finally put himself first for a change and embraced this new, potentially scary chapter in his life.
