Breaking Bad: 10 Most Annoying Characters

7. Jesse Pinkman

On one hand Jesse was the series' real protagonist, often times proving himself to be a deeply compassionate voice of reason (at least compared to Walter's brutal behaviour). Despite this, his arc ground to a halt around the Season 4 mark, and he spent the remainder of the show either wallowing in existential despair, or being the plaything of a bunch of loathsome neo-Nazis. It's a shame that it all turned out this way, as Aaron Paul's deeply expressive acting was one of the show's highlights. Still, the inertia that gripped his character for the show's final two seasons can't really be denied. It turned an engaging character into a pitiful and annoying bag of slop.
