Breaking Bad: 10 Most Brutal Deaths In The Series So Far

7. Half Measures Hit And Run

Breaking Bad Half Measures The hit and run at the end of Half Measures not only gave us one of the show's most brutal of deaths but also tipped everything upside down for Walt and his alter-ego, Heisenberg, leading to yet more carnage. After hooking up with Andrea and later discovering a rival drug gang is using her little brother, Tomás, as a drug mule, Jesse is further infuriated when said gang kill Tomás after being ordered by Gus, who the gang are also working for, to stop using children in their operations. Jesse wants vengeance and asks Walt for the ricin they were going to use on Tuco in season two, but Walt refuses, leading to a more chaotic resolution to the problem. With Jesse wanting the gang dead for killing Tomás, he is warned off by Gus at a meeting, but later disobeys anyway and heads straight into battle with the two. As he walks dramatically toward them, seemingly outnumbered and outgunned, Walt turns up in his car and mows straight through the rival gang. And if that wasn't enough, he pops a bullet into the head of one of them, just for that extra bit of gore. This later leads to Gus flipping out, setting up his rivalry with Heisenberg and so, so many more deaths.
