Breaking Bad: 10 Most Brutal Deaths In The Series So Far

6. Max Arciniega - Shot In Head

Breaking Bad Harmonos In the season four episode 'Harmonos', we travel back in time for a backstory surrounding Gus, and how he came to be in the drugs business. He and his partner, Max, attend a meeting aside a swimming pool with Don Eladio Vuente, a cartel boss, and his goon Hector Salamanca, in an attempt to get him to buy into their meth, but are told by the Don that it's a "poor man's cocaine". The Don's mood then drops dramatically as he accuses Gus and Max of manipulating him into a meeting in front of his own men. Despite Gus's apologies, Hector slips toward Max and fires a bullet through his brain, sending him slouching toward the swimming pool. As Max's blood steadily drips into the water, Don Eladio forces Gus to watch by forcing him to the ground right next to his recently-dead buddy. Harsh. Little wonder he turns out to be such a loon.
