Breaking Bad: 16 Examples Of Obnoxious Behaviour That Didn’t Involve Murder Or Cooking Meth

7. "Who's Us?"

Breaking Bad Jesse2 Jesse loved Jane. They had a lot in common. Mainly meth and, later, heroin. And Georgia O'Keefe. (Primarily her door, vagina, and cow skull paintings.) But for awhile, it was unclear if Jane felt the same way about Jesse. Jane's father owned a duplex. Jane lived in one of the units, and managed the rental of the other one. One day, Jane's father showed up unexpectedly and knocked on Jane's door. Jane was next door in bed with Jesse and had to quickly dress, run out the back, and sneak into her own place to open her front door to her father. She pretended she had been...well, it doesn't really matter. She had a ton of excuses, and for a moment, it looked like Daddy Dearest was going to accept her bull and leave. But then Jesse opened his door and inserted himself into the conversation. Jane introduced him to her father as the "new tenant" and then coldly asked him if he needed something. Apparently, this is not what Jesse expected. It seems he was thinking of something more along the lines of "Daddy! Meet my cool new squeeze Jesse! Isn't he dreamy?" The way she acted hurt his feelings, and when he confronted her later and asked her why she didn't tell her father about "us?", she snottily replied "Who's us?" More hurt feelings for Jesse. Good thing he could listen to her outgoing phone message after Walt let her drown in her own vomit.
