10. Ted Won't Pay His Taxes

Ted Benecke was an idiot. Yeah, I said it. And as Kuby reminded him, he should not have chosen to make Huell unhappy. When Ted rehired Skyler as an accountant, he had been cooking his company's books for a while because his employees had mortgages. Okay, whatever. But Skyler freaked out when he told her that he was being audited - tomorrow - and she knew that her name was all over his books. She and Walt had just purchased the car wash with drug money and she knew an audit would nail them. So she tarted herself up, complete with an abundance of MILF cleavage, and convinced the IRS agent that any failure to report income was because she was a dimwit, and not because Ted was committing tax fraud. The IRS gave him a bill for $600,000+ and Skyler knew that if he didn't pay, the doomsday audit would commence. So she gave Ted over $600,000 of Walt's money so he could pay his taxes. Did Ted cry tears of joy and relief and immediately send the IRS a check? Of course not. This moron obnoxiously decided to buy an expensive car and use the rest of the money to pay company bills. So Saul sent Huell and Kuby to Ted's house to make him write a check and mail it. Ted tried to flee and fell and ended up bald and with a brace drilled into his head. Lessons learned: never disobey Skyler; don't upset Huell.
