Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Every Season Finale Ranked Worst To Best
1. Jake & Amy (Season Five)
As discussed earlier, the relationship between Jake and Amy is one of the highlights of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Finally seeing them get hitched would have been enough to make this episode a great season five finale, but it didn't just settle on that.
In this episode, Jake and Amy are prepped for their wedding, but a bomb threat derails the ceremony, with the bomb technician in charge of sorting it being Teddy, Amy's ex-boyfriend.
Like "Lights Out", this one focussed on a personal relationship instead of criminal activity but threw enough police work in there to make it feel tenser. A bomb scare ruining Jake and Amy's wedding is such a Brooklyn Nine-Nine move, making their union all the more striking when it finally got the go-ahead.
The final ceremony was a meaningful moment, with a beautiful speech from Captain Holt and some great, unexpected cameos - who can rightfully say they expected to see Mlepnos back?
To add a cherry on top of this already tasty sundae, the final cliffhanger - which saw Holt ready to reveal if he was the new Commissioner - was huge.
